Valcon, a leading European consultancy specialising in technology, data and consulting, is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Otten as a partner in the Nordic technology team. This strategic hire aligns with Valcon’s continued ambition to strengthen its presence in the Nordic market and accelerate the growth of its technology services, especially within industrials and the financial services sector. Martin’s experience in technology strategy, enterprise software platforms and go-to-market leadership will play a key role in helping clients realise business value from digital transformation.
Martin brings over 30 years of experience in advising organisations on leveraging enterprise software platforms to drive business transformation. He has held senior leadership roles at companies such as Mendix, OutSystems and Thales/OneWelcome, where he played a key role in launching and scaling operations across the Benelux, UK, Germany and the Nordics.
He has a strong track record of defining and executing go-to-market strategies, enabling growth for both emerging and established technology vendors. Throughout his career, Martin has helped clients across sectors – from financial services to industry – navigate complex change programmes, modernise IT landscapes and translate strategic goals into technology-enabled business outcomes.
At Valcon, Martin will focus on helping clients navigate technology-led business change, specifically focusing on Industrials and Financial Services & Insurance. Based in Copenhagen, Martin will operate primarily in Denmark and Sweden. Martin will work closely with Valcon’s digital and delivery teams to grow the technology portfolio, support account strategy and deliver impactful, cross-capability client solutions.
