London, 21st February 2024: Valcon, a leading European consultancy specialising in technology, data and business consulting, has today announced that it has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Cloud Compute 2 framework [RM6292].
Valcon has been selected due to its expertise in project delivery, cloud solutions and cloud operations & engineering. It will be providing professional services related to cloud and data to CCS customers through the framework. The Cloud Compute 2 framework enables CCS customers to access essential cloud services like Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), along with a variety of ancillary and professional services for enhanced cloud management and security.
The purpose of CCS is to support public sector organisations in achieving maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2022/23, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £3.8 billion – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
