London, 8 September 2025: Valcon, a leading European consultancy specialising in AI and data-driven business transformation, has today announced the hire of a new head of the UK Data practice, Simon de Timary.
Prior to Valcon, experienced industry professional Simon was Head of Data & AI at technology and business consultancy, BJSS, where he had a particular focus on innovation capabilities.
Growing the team to over 120 data SMEs, Simon was primarily responsible for helping clients find innovative ways to drive value through data, AI and technology. Before BJSS, Simon held a series of senior advisory roles in AI and emerging technologies at Accenture.
At Valcon, Simon will be responsible for managing and growing the data and AI capability in the UK, working collaboratively with partners across the group and overseeing the delivery of innovative data and AI solutions to help clients unlock value and improve performance. Simon takes over from Martin Paice, who has moved to become Valcon UK’s Head of Technology.
