What you’ll do
As a data consultant at one of Europe’s fastest-growing consultancies, you will:
 

  • Translate technical data concepts into clear business value and ensure systems align with organisational objectives and drive value
  • Design and build scalable ETL pipelines to support data integration and transformation needs
  • Use cutting-edge tools and technologies like Databricks, Azure, dbt, Fabric to create meaningful solutions for our clients
  • Develop data models and architectures that enable efficient querying, reporting and analysis in complex environments
  • Ensure best practices through CI/CD pipelines, test automation, DevOps and MLOps approaches
  • Drive clarity on both the ‘how’ and the ‘why’ behind engineering solutions

What we’re looking for
We want someone who is not only skilled but also committed to personal and professional growth. To thrive in this role, you will need:
 

  • A master’s degree and significant practical experience (minimum 3 years, ideally 5+) as a data engineer or similar
  • A consulting mindset with the ability to communicate and collaborate with clients off- and on-site (since we work with both international and Danish clients, proficiency in Danish is a plus)
  • Hands-on expertise in Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and the wider Azure Data & AI ecosystem
  • Strong skills in Python, SQL and ideally PySpark
  • Solid theoretical foundations in data modelling and architecture, with knowledge of concepts such as Star schema and Data Vault
  • Experience with data extraction tools (e.g. ADF, Fivetran, DLTHub, Lakeflow Connect) and proficiency with BI/data orchestration tools (e.g. dbt, Airflow, Dagster)
  • Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD, DevOps, MLOps and test automation
  • Knowledge of streaming data solutions and API data extraction
  • Commitment to continuous learning including achieving relevant certifications

  • DP-203 Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure

  • AI-102 Azure AI Engineer Associate
  • AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate
  • AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert

If you do not yet hold these certifications, we will support you to achieve many over time. Your first-year learning plan will cover certifications and advisory fundamentals to maximise impact at our clients.
