Utrecht, 12 January 2026 – Valcon, a leading European consultancy specialised in AI and data-driven business transformation, has today announced the appointment of Edwin Kerkmeester as Partner and Lead for Retail in the Netherlands as of February 1, 2026.
With over 25 years of experience in professional services, including senior roles at international consulting firms and most recently at EY, Edwin brings a proven track record in client relationship management and complex transformation programmes within the Retail sector.
Edwin will lead Valcon’s Retail go-to-market strategy and drive commercial growth by expanding Valcon’s portfolio of consulting, data & AI, and technology. Drawing on his extensive experience in the professional services industry, Edwin looks forward to working together with Valcon’s clients, teams and alliance partners to further strengthen the company’s presence in the Dutch retail sector.
