About the event
Valcon is a European powerhouse in data- and AI-driven business transformation, and we are excited to invite you to our first World of Data & AI event in Denmark.
During the afternoon, we will bring you together with other senior leaders from across the Danish industry and public sector to explore and discuss real-world implementations of data and AI.
Featuring speakers from leading organisations, including Novo Nordisk, Nuuday, Nordea and Databricks, we will showcase practical, first-hand experiences of delivering data and AI initiatives.
Ida Ebbensgaard, an experienced moderator, journalist and author of Ægte – a small book about AI (2025), will guide us through the afternoon and lead the discussion.

About the speakers

Ida Ebbensgaard
Independent journalist and professional moderator
Ida Ebbensgaard is an experienced journalist and moderator known for making complex topics – especially generative AI, sustainability and international affairs – easy to understand. She has a background as Editor-in-Chief at Zetland, Foreign Editor at Berlingske, broadcaster at DR and Press Chief at the Ministry of Climate & Energy. She is also the author of “Ægte – a small book about AI” (2025).
At World of Data & AI, Ida will guide the discussion, ask sharp questions and ensure the conversation stays engaging and relevant.

Ibrahim Kamstrup-Akkaoui
Senior Director, R&D Digital Transformation, Novo Nordisk
Ibrahim is a senior leader in clinical data management and digital transformation at Novo Nordisk and has over 20 years of experience working with data and clinical studies. Ibrahim has also led multiple projects that have evolved the way data management is conducted at Novo Nordisk and the broader industry. He is currently leading the DataNow Program to renew the digital infrastructure for clinical studies, with end users and patients as the focus.
At World of Data & AI, Ibrahim will share a practitioner’s approach to strategic business transformation powered by Data & AI.

Thomas Rosenlund
Managing Partner and Consulting Lead, Valcon
Thomas is the Managing Partner of Valcon Denmark and leads the Consulting capability across Valcon Group. He has more than 25 years of experience advising some of Scandinavia’s largest businesses and public organisations. His main objectives are to create value for Valcon’s clients and develop their ability to undertake major transformations, while substantially growing Valcon and developing our business further.
At World of Data & AI, Thomas will, together with Morten Ib Ingstrup, discuss how you can move from ambition to real value creation by aligning strategy, operations and execution.

Morten Ib Ingstrup
Partner and Data Lead, Valcon
Morten Ib is a Partner at Valcon and leads our Data practice in Denmark. He is an experienced management consultant with a strong background in computer science. His work is primarily focused on driving impact with AI and new technologies in regulated industries, from identifying opportunities to designing, scoping and managing the delivery of solutions that support data-driven decision-making and automation.
At World of Data & AI, Morten Ib will, together with Thomas Rosenlund, explore how you can turn data and digital initiatives into practical, scalable value.

Henrik Kier
Head of Digital Customer Engagement Engineering, Retail Digital at Nordea
Henrik is a senior engineering leader with responsibility for large, cross-border engineering organisations and 15+ years of experience building and scaling complex digital banking platforms. With a strong technical background and a focus on modern architectures, platform sustainability and operational excellence, Henrik actively drives innovation and the use of AI to improve engineering productivity, quality and customer outcomes.
At World of Data & AI, Henrik will share his experience in increasing efficiency at scale with AI.

Eva Fors
Vice President, Databricks Nordics & Benelux Region
Eva brings over two decades of leadership experience from hyperscalers, building cloud businesses and driving digital transformation across commercial enterprises, the public sector and digital natives. She has held leadership positions at Google Cloud and Microsoft. Eva leads the adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform and supports local customers across the region to effectively scale trusted AI apps and agents.
At World of Data & AI, Eva will talk about how to drive true business impact from Gen AI and further close the gap between AI ambition and AI implementation.

Transportation
- By train and metro: The Planetarium is conveniently located near public transportation. The nearest train station is Vesterport St, serving all S-train lines. You can also get there by metro via Copenhagen Central Station
- By car: If you come by car, paid parking is available below the Scandic Hotel via Q-Park Nyropsgade (Nyropsgade 42). Please note that parking availability may vary, and we recommend checking in advance
Food and drinks
During the event, you will be served a selection of both savoury and sweet snacks and drinks. All snacks are provided by Restaurant Gemini. Please note that no full meal will be served.
- Upon registration, you will be offered a range of savoury snacks and canapés, including mini gougères, smoked and salted almonds, olives, chips (salt/truffle) and croustade with tuna salad
- During the break, there will be a mini cake selection from Leckerbaer
- Throughout the event, water, soft drinks, coffee and tea will be available
