(Senior) Manager IT Advisory – IT Operations

Within our IT Advisory practice, our primary goal is to help our clients unlock the full potential of our clients’ IT resources. We work closely with CIOs, CTOs, and IT managers, providing strategic, tactical, and operational guidance to optimize their technology landscape. Our projects encompass various areas, including IT Strategy, IT Governance, IT Target Operating Models, IT Operations, IT Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Data Strategy and Data Governance.

What are you going to do?

As an IT Operations (senior) manager, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance and optimizing IT operations for our clients. You will leverage your extensive experience and expertise in IT infrastructure management, process optimization, and technology solutions to deliver outstanding results. Working closely with IT leaders and stakeholders, you will lead and support initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, scalability, and reliability of IT systems and services


  • Collaborate with clients to develop and execute IT operations strategies aligned with their business objectives. Analyze current IT processes and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Provide expert advice on IT infrastructure design, implementation, and management. Assess and recommend solutions to enhance network, server, storage, and cloud environments.
  • Lead the design and implementation of IT service management frameworks, including ITIL practices, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in IT processes, and design streamlined workflows to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Assess IT security risks and compliance requirements. Develop and implement measures to enhance cybersecurity and data protection.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met, and contract negotiations are favorable.
  • Guide clients through IT-related organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimized disruptions.
  • Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure IT services’ resilience in the face of disruptions.
  • Lead IT operations improvement projects, overseeing project teams, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT support, engineering, and development teams, to align IT operations with broader business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices. Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • A completed Master’s degree
  • At least 6 years of experience in IT operations management and consulting, with a track record of successful projects and client engagements.
  • Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, cloud computing, networking, server administration, and IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • In-depth understanding of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in IT operations and infrastructure management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor project teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and recommend effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, AWS/Azure certifications, or PMP would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of business processes and the ability to align IT operations with broader business objectives.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
