Frontend Developer

As a Frontend Developer, you’ll be working in an agile team delivering features to build and improve amazing software platforms. Duties and responsibilities

  • Implementing new features based on specifications
  • Writing automated and functional tests
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Planning the implementation details based on the business requirements
  • Making suggestions for better solutions to problems
  • Conducting code reviews
  • Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
  • Mentoring and onboarding junior members of the team
  • Ensuring quality and stability of software solutions

Experience

  • At least 6 years of experience in Functional and Object-Oriented JavaScript/ES6+ coding
  • Full stack web development experience (JavaScript stack)
  • Extensive experience in at least two of the popular JavaScript libraries/frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js)
  • Proficient with HTML5 and CSS3 (as well as css pre compilers sass, less…)
  • Experience with a responsive design for desktop/mobile
  • Experience with writing automated tests as well as functional tests
  • Proficient with Git source control and effective branching and release management practices
  • Ability to debug, diagnose and resolve complex JavaScript bugs throughout the stack
  • Strong UX and product sense with the ability to negotiate the right MVP
  • Interest in building UI with performance, accessibility and scalability in mind
  • Strong communication skills in a collaborative environment
  • Strong critical thinking skills, ability to devise innovative solutions
  • Able to identify areas of improvement and driving best practices to deliver high quality, performant, and scalable solutions
  • Help drive technical decisions while making appropriate trade-offs on technology, functionality, robustness, performance, and extensibility
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
