Meet our Leadership Team

Geert van den Goor, CEO
Geert is an experienced partner and consultant, with over 30 years in the consulting industry, having specialised primarily in working with public and semi-public organisations.
After studying computer science at university, Geert joined Andersen Consulting (currently Accenture) and after a 20-year stint, he joined First Consulting, which grew into the current Valcon.
The values that define Geert’s approach are passion for the client, professionalism, being result-oriented and working as a team.
Geert is also currently serving as interim Managing Partner for the Netherlands.
Geert lives in The Hague with his wife and two children and has a passion for cars and mountain sports – he’s a keen climber, skier and enjoys mountain biking.

Laura Casci, Managing Partner, Valcon UK
A highly experienced consultant and consultancy industry leader, Laura has over 25 years’ experience in management roles in the UK technology sector.
Prior to Valcon, Laura was at BJSS, a large, privately owned business and technology transformation consultancy, which was acquired in February 2025. Originally responsible for opening and growing the BJSS footprint In Scotland, Laura moved into a Regional Director role for BJSS, taking responsibility for Scotland, Northeast of England, Ireland and Portugal and a team of approximately 400.
A proud Scot, Laura lives in Glasgow with her partner and is close to her extended family. Laura loves the outdoors and travelling, spending as much time as she can in warmer climates. Despite being a big fan of the Scottish countryside – its mountains, lochs and coastline – she’s less keen on the weather!

Sander de Jongh, Group Head of Data
Sander has worked in data and consulting for over 22 years, helping customers with their data challenges and leading data organisations.
He has experienced the revolution of data while carrying out different roles and responsibilities throughout his career. In 2014 he joined Jibes which is now part of Valcon.
Sander studied Business Administration at university and lives in Berkel-Enschot, the Netherlands, with his wife and two daughters.

Bart Leurs, Group Head of Technology
Bart Leurs is an experienced technology leader with over 20 years of experience in digital innovation and transformation within the financial services industry. He is passionate about leveraging technology and data to create sustainable business value and enhance customer experiences.
In his most recent role, Bart was part of the Managing Board of Rabobank, where he was globally responsible for technology, digital transformation, data and innovation. Prior to Rabobank, Bart held various executive positions at ING Group and ING Direct, working across multiple countries and gaining extensive international experience.
At Valcon, Bart will focus on advancing the firm’s technology strategy and digital transformation services, working closely with clients to navigate complex technological challenges and help them adapt to an evolving digital landscape.
Bart lives with his family in Bilthoven, the Netherlands, and is passionate about rowing, golf, jazz, music and theatre.

Marc van Ogtrop, Managing Partner, Southeast Europe
Marc is an experienced technology leader and management consultant with more than 20 years in the digital and technology services industry. He has a proven track record in building strong client relationships and delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes.
Before joining Valcon, Marc spent over six years at Levi9, where he was industry director responsible for the media, marketing and retail sector. Throughout his career, he has focused on helping organisations harness technology to drive growth and operational excellence.
At Valcon, Marc leads the firm’s operations and strategy in Southeast Europe, with a focus on expanding the reach of Valcon’s nearshore technology services and driving commercial growth across the region. He works closely with teams across Europe to strengthen client partnerships and deliver data-driven transformation for businesses.
Marc lives in Heemstede with his wife, Patricia, and their daughter, who is currently studying in Groningen. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and playing golf.

Thomas Rosenlund, Managing Partner, Nordics
Thomas is a professional management consultant and a dedicated leader with more than 20 years of experience at Valcon. His commitment lies in creating value for clients, fostering Valcon’s growth and propelling our business forward.
As a seasoned management consultant, Thomas has successfully overseen more than 200 projects spanning diverse industries and geographies, generating value for some of Scandinavia’s largest businesses and organisations. His areas of expertise is strategically driven and companywide transformation of businesses.
Outside of work, Thomas shares his life in Gentofte north of Copenhagen with his wife, Heidi, and their two sons. He enjoys running, biking and mountaineering

Fieke Schopenhouer, Group CHRO
An experienced HR professional, Fieke has worked in talent and organisational structure for more than 16 years. She has deep experience in working on large-scale organisational programmes where she managed different types of complex organisational change and cultural initiatives on a global basis. Prior to her CHRO role at Valcon, Fieke had set up the firm’s change practice in the Netherlands.
Fieke has an MSc in Economics, which she gained after finishing her studies at Maastricht University and Assumption University in Bangkok. Following university, she joined Accenture where she worked for 10 years.
Fieke lives in Bilthoven, with her partner Timo and his two children. In her spare time, she is a bit of a food and wine connoisseur, which she combines with going to the gym and yoga.

Jochem Theunissen, Group CFO
Jochem has over 17 years of international experience across investment banking, private equity investing and CFO roles. He served as CFO for software and IT services companies like RAET, Conclusion and Vodeno.
Jochem has a masters in Quantitative Finance & Econometrics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and lives in Amsterdam with his wife and three daughters. He is a huge enthusiast of Sabermetrics, as described in the book ‘Moneyball’ (by Michael Lewis) as a perfect crossroad example where one passion (baseball) gets lifted by another passion (mathematical optimisation).
