Key responsibilities:
Own Databricks revenue:
- Take accountability for Databricks-sourced and influenced revenue
- Build, manage and convert a strong pipeline
- Deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Lead proposals, commercials and contract negotiations
Drive new business:
- Identify and target new enterprise accounts
- Create and progress Databricks-led opportunities
- Lead early-stage sales conversations through to close
- Build a strong new logo portfolio
Strengthen the alliance:
- Act as the main contact for Databricks field and partner teams
- Build deep relationships with Databricks AEs and partner leaders
- Develop joint account plans and co-sell motions
- Increase Valcon visibility across Databricks GTM teams
Support account growth:
- Work with Valcon Partners to spot and shape Databricks opportunities
- Position the Databricks Lakehouse Platform within transformation programmes
- Align data, AI and cloud propositions to client priorities
Enable internal teams:
- Enable Sales and Delivery teams on Databricks value propositions
- Contribute to joint campaigns, events and thought leadership
- Provide market feedback to refine our Databricks strategy
