London, 28 May 2026: Valcon, a leading European consultancy specialising in AI and data-driven business transformation, has today announced the appointment of John Madeley as Consulting Partner and Head of UK Financial Services, strengthening its leadership team as the firm continues its UK expansion.
John, who has over 25 years’ experience in the consulting industry, joins Valcon from Ernst & Young in Saudi Arabia, where he was a Partner in Finance Consulting. Prior to that, John held senior leadership roles at IBM, PA Consulting and KPMG. Over two decades, John has built a strong industry record in digital leadership and extensive experience advising financial services organisations on transformation, technology, operations and strategic change.
John’s appointment comes at a time of increasing demand from banks, insurers and other financial institutions for support in regulatory adherence, combatting financial crime, broader digital transformation and navigating AI adoption.
