London, 13 October 2026: Valcon, a leading European consultancy specialising in AI and data-driven business transformation, has appointed industry AI leader David Miranda as Head of AI, UK, strengthening its leadership and expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) as the technology continues to transform business and society.
In his new role, David will lead the organisation’s AI strategy in the UK, working with the company’s tech, data and consultancy teams to identify opportunities to apply AI responsibly and effectively. He will focus on helping organisations understand the rapidly evolving AI landscape and translate emerging technologies into practical, measurable outcomes.
David brings a huge depth of experience across software, data and AI, combining strategic advisory of CXOs with hands-on leadership of complex, mission-critical tech modernisation programmes. His work spans sectors including transport, consumer, manufacturing and financial services. David comes from PA Consulting, where he spent almost eight years holding a range of senior roles, most recently as Head of AI Engineering. Prior to PA Consulting, David held positions as CTO for Resident Advisor and Head of Development at Totaljobs Group.
