Valcon announces Raymond Knops as Partner 

Former Dutch Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations joins leading European technology and data consultancy

Utrecht, 09 April, 2024: Valcon, the leading European consultancy specialising in combining technology, data and consulting has today announced the appointment of former Dutch Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, Raymond Knops, as Partner and strategic adviser to the business. 

As Partner, Raymond will act as strategic adviser to Valcon’s government team focusing on the further development of the government business, in addition to providing counsel and insight to other teams across the Valcon organisation. The position at Valcon will form part of Raymond’s current portfolio of roles, including his position as Chairman of The Netherlands Industries for Defence & Security (NIDV).

Valcon has enjoyed significant growth over the last five years, both organically and from acquisition. The company now has a community of over 1750 consultants, specialising in technology, data and artificial intelligence and consulting, in offices that span The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, the UK, Serbia and Croatia. Leveraging Raymond’s knowledge from his 30-year career, which saw him start out in the military before moving to local politics and then a 17-year stint in national government, Valcon is looking forward to the fresh perspective Raymond will bring.
