AM Digital has a solid background and immense growth potential. However, over the past decade, the company has neglected crucial aspects such as software maintenance, technology stack, and regular upgrades. This has left AM with an outdated system with several issues – slow processing speeds, security vulnerabilities, scalability challenges, integration limitations, and inadequate analytics.
Initially, AM Digital only had a few IT experts maintaining the software. Unfortunately, these IT-related issues have resulted in low customer satisfaction, hindered growth, diminished development, and a competitive disadvantage in the market.
Recognising the unsustainable approach, the company decided to address the outdated, slow software solution two years ago. So, it was time to face the task of overcoming these challenges to regain a competitive edge and ensure sustained success.
After reaching out to Valcon, the first step was a thorough assessment of AM Digital’s current situation through a 2-day in-person discovery workshop. Collaborating with senior management, Valcon devised a comprehensive plan for an integrated approach covering both backend applications and web interfaces, along with analytics.
Implementing the plan, Valcon formed specialised teams addressing security, customer satisfaction, and analytics, composed of software engineers, data scientists, QA testers, UX/UI designers, solution architects, and team leads. In addition to website maintenance, Valcon provided tailored analytics with a focus on PowerBI.
Different workshops were held both on-site and at Valcon’s offices, with discussions on future strategies regarding infrastructure and team alignment as the partnership expanded from a team of 2 to 15 Valcon members.
The implementation and deployment of projects relied on establishing and maintaining scalability, reliability, security, maintainability, performance, and interoperability.
AM Digital has successfully completed the migration to a tailored cloud-ready platform designed for all future requirements. With a focus on scalability and performance growth, the system is prepared to meet anticipated demands over the next 5 years.
Valcon’s partnership with AM extends beyond this migration – they now maintain and continuously develop the platform and new products. AM has established teams for ongoing development and maintenance, creating a culture of communication, collaboration, ownership, proactivity, and continuous improvement.
