What is the role?
Valcon UK is recruiting for a SAP Business Analyst to join our growing Consulting Sector team in Manchester. As an SAP Business Analyst, you will work with clients to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions, ensuring business requirements are translated effectively into technical specifications. You’ll play a key role in SAP transformations, ensuring projects meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.

We work closely with clients to map their vision, define the programme to achieve it and deliver the programme successfully, using a blend of Valcon’s consulting, data and technology expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work with clients to understand business requirements and document functional specifications for SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and related modules.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with SAP Solution Architects and technical teams to design scalable and efficient SAP solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Process Optimization: Identify business process improvements and work closely with technical teams to streamline processes through SAP solutions.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test cases, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure the delivered solution meets business requirements and quality standards.
  • Change Management: Support clients in the change management process, including training and preparing end-users for new SAP systems.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Ensure comprehensive documentation of project progress, solution design, and testing results.

Experience

  • •Proven experience as an SAP Business Analyst with a strong understanding of SAP modules, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.
  • •Experience working on SAP transformation and implementation projects, with a focus on business process mapping and solution design.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • •Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project delivery.
  • •SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) is preferred but not required.
  • •Experience with business process reengineering and data migration is a plus.
