The client was challenged by slow performance and a lack of connectivity in some of its core applications. This had consequences for the shop staff’s ability to provide good customer service as well as for the reports, which often contained wrong data. Ultimately, this affected the company’s external sales outlook.
In close cooperation with the client’s IT operation and development department, Valcon made a task force to investigate the different problems and possible solutions. A roadmap was established and one-by-one solutions were implemented.
As a result of the project, performance increased by 60% within three months, and the issues with poor data quality and connectivity were solved. The project helped the Danish jewellery manufacturer steer the company and increase the quality of its sales outlook. Moreover, the customer experience in the shops was increased.
