The client – with retail stores in Europe, Asia and North America – had just brought on a professional investor. The client and its owners wished to develop a robust growth strategy with a three-year horizon. The focus was on assessing scalability, spotlighting growth markets and identifying unique selling points.
Valcon developed a corporate strategy in close collaboration with the management team signed off by the board and shareholders. The corporate strategy was based on detailed qualitative and quantitative market analyses (e.g. customer and expert interviews, market and competitor analyses, etc.) and included an assessment of their IT and brand scalability as well as actionable expansion plans and an improvement initiative catalogue.
The project helped the client and the ownership define and align on a strategy and on growth ambitions by providing market insights and scalability assessments.
