What you’ll do
As a finance and performance management consultant at Valcon, you will:
- Work with C-level and senior executives to deliver innovative solutions in finance and performance management
- Lead projects that enhance financial processes through automation, digitisation and streamlined workflows
- Design and implement digital tools and platforms that support budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring
- Advise on finance transformation initiatives with a focus on automation to reduce inefficiencies and improve decision-making
- Build and nurture trusted client relationships while leveraging your network to generate new business opportunities
- Engage in commercial activities and take the lead in proposal processes
- Act as a mentor and leader within the team, promoting a culture of learning and innovation
What we’re looking for
To thrive in this role, you should be able to say yes to some or all of the following:
- A master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field
- At least 10 years of professional experience, with more than 5 years in a consulting role focused on finance and performance management
- A proven track record of finance transformations
- Strong technical acumen and familiarity with tools and platforms for digital transformation in financial processes
- A wide network of C-level stakeholders and a history of commercial success in generating and managing client relationships
- A collaborative and inclusive mindset with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and an interest in following emerging trends in finance, automation and digital solutions
