What is the role?
Valcon UK is currently recruiting for an SAP Change Manager to join our growing Consulting Sector team. Based out of Manchester with flexible hybrid working, this position offers the opportunity to work on exciting SAP transformation projects for a range of clients.

As an SAP Change Manager, you will play a critical role in driving organizational change and adoption for SAP implementations and transformations. You will work closely with stakeholders across business and technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes while aligning people, processes, and technology with client goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Change Management Strategy: Develop and execute change management plans to ensure the successful adoption of SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA and related modules.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on change initiatives and minimizing resistance.
  • Communication & Training: Design and deliver clear communication plans and training programs to prepare end-users for SAP implementations and transformations.
  • Impact Assessments: Conduct change impact analyses to identify risks and dependencies, recommending mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with functional and technical teams to streamline business processes and align them with SAP solutions.
  • Readiness Assessments: Evaluate organizational readiness for change and provide actionable insights to drive project success.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support post-implementation, ensuring long-term adoption and success of SAP systems.

Experience

  • •Proven experience as a Change Manager working on SAP transformation projects, including SAP S/4HANA.
  • •Strong expertise in organizational change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR).
  • •Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • •Experience in conducting impact analyses and developing change strategies for large-scale technology implementations.
  • •Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies and project delivery frameworks (Agile and Waterfall).
  • •Knowledge of business process optimization and reengineering in an SAP environment is a plus
  • •A certification in change management (e.g., PROSCI) or SAP certifications are desirable.
