HR Officer (Employee Relations)

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Officer to join our Employee Relations team for 24 hours a week (possibly expandable to 32 hours). Together with your ambitious and experienced team members, you will focus on our day-to-day HR administration and HR operations and will be involved with both process optimization and process execution. Moreover, you ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations and initiate and run projects that add to HR efficiency.  

What will you be doing?  

  • Acting as a main point of contact for HR-related inquiries for all our employees and team leads; 

  • Responding to, and processing of, all incoming email in our HR-mailbox; 

  • Handling and processing incoming calls and messages regarding all types of leave and sickness;  

  • Processing new hires: think about on-boarding documentation, creation of files, systems set-up, and coordination of onboarding;  

  • End-to-end monitoring of the employee lifecycle;  

  • Providing support to employees for the enrollment and processing of benefits and the payroll process, ensuring monthly data is accurate and provided on time;  

  • Maintaining our employee data, to ensure a high degree of accuracy and timeliness in processing all team member changes and new joiners;  
  • Thinking of professionalizing and optimizing our HR initiatives and processes – being proactive and initiating new ideas is highly valued.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience (3+ years) as an HR officer or related role; 
  • You adapt easily to a fast-changing work environment;  
  • You are hands-on and result-oriented;  
  • You like to work hard, but you’re also in for some good banter from time to time;  
  • You are available 24 hours a week (preferably on Fridays); 
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
