Managed Services Tech Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with technical background in implementing Data projects with over 8 years of experience and at least 4 years of experience in managing technical aspects of managed services in an organization. New colleague needs to demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Should be experienced at coordinating cross-functional (MDM, Data Science and Data Platform) and cross-organizational teams, mentoring technical staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

– Lead the technical team responsible for managed services for Data Products (MDM, Data Science, Data Platform), providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
– Develop and execute strategies to optimize service delivery, responsible for setting up and running the technical team for executing managed services towards clients.
– Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of managed service solutions, ensuring they meet industry standards and best practices.
– Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the team in areas such as cloud engineering, network management and IT automation, providing training and growth opportunities.
– Address and resolve complex technical issues, acting as the point of escalation and coordination of priorities for the technical team.
– Design and implement disaster recovery, backup, and security solutions as part of the managed service offerings, if needed in coordination with internal capabilities.
– Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of managed service operations to increase performance.
– Responsible for knowledge transfer and continuity within the team, e.g. via SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), technical manuals, training materials, resource planning, etc.
– Coordinate effectively with account leads and internal capabilities
Monitor, report and steer on service levels and performance metrics to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with multiple client SLAs.
– Handle escalations and resolve issues effectively and across multiple client contracts, including prioritizing resource assignment during escalations.

Experience

  • Expertise in delivering managed services across multiple domains within Data, including cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud), virtualization, networking.
  • Experience in leading technical teams in managed service environments, managing service desk operations including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Experience with setting up monitoring and automation tools.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong commitment to excellence in service delivery.
  • Technical certifications in cloud platforms, data engineering, networking, security, and other relevant areas are a plus.
  • Experience in working in multi-client settings within managed service is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
