Situation
Our client has grown rapidly in the past years and is currently one of the largest furniture retailers. To keep a competitive edge, it was looking for a partner to develop a competitive insights solution that monitors competitor product and service information.
Approach
We developed a cloud-based solution that monitors competitor products and service information from (e-commerce) retailers around the world. The solution consisted of a data acquisition module to scrape products and service information, processing and matching software to extract insights and a user interface to enable data-driven decision making.
Results
The solution is currently being rolled out in Europe and India. With the solution, the client is able to gain insights into the competitor landscape and can adjust their strategy accordingly. Due to its success, the solution is planned to be rolled out globally in the upcoming years.
