We developed an application for national public transport that is central to the registration of train journeys


This is a project to make it possible to travel by train safely again in times of Corona. For this purpose, we developed an application in which travellers can register their journey in advance. This enables the company to monitor whether a ride is going to be busy, and it enables the company to communicate this to the passengers.


Due to the first Corona wave, there was high time pressure. Therefore, all functional and non-functional wishes of the stakeholders involved were mapped out in two days. Through various pilots, we gained experience in where and how the solution can create the most value. Lastly, DevOps (continuation) is implemented.


The project generated an agile process in which continuous development and improvements are implemented as well as insightful data that can be used to manage a seamless integration in the application landscape.
