An insurance company kept its financial prediction models loosely organised in SharePoint and an Excel list. Therefore, it couldn’t be determined which of the circulating versions of a model was the current one and there was no tracking of changes and people in charge.
We created a 360° view of models with links to other models, methodologies and whatnot. These relationships are now updated automatically. Changes to one model will prompt a compatibility check of affected relations. We added a proper, full audit log listing all changes to models and approvals made and by whom.
As a result of the project, the client now has clarity on the current models, where to get them and how to change them.
