The client is a large international player that currently has several data initiatives, but has a diverse landscape of tools and platforms. The diverse reporting requirements from the different business units ask for an organisational model that can find the balance between flexibility and speed.


To consolidate this landscape, Valcon has worked with the client to create one data analytics organisational structure and one data platform by utilising a future proof, centralised and governed platform to enable business ownership of the data and analytical products.

The client strategy to leverage data for greater returns required both a strong data platform and supporting governance. We defined a data analytics organisation (roles, responsibilities and processes) to manage the data for the purpose of analytics across their entire business.
