(Senior) Manager IT Advisory – Data Strategy & Management

Within our IT Advisory practice our primary goal is to help our clients unlock the full potential of their IT resources. We work closely with CIOs, CTOs, and IT managers, providing strategic, tactical, and operational guidance to optimize their technology landscape. Our projects encompass various areas, including IT Strategy, IT Governance, IT Target Operating Models, IT Operations, IT Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Data Strategy and Data Governance.

Collaborating with Data colleagues, we define data strategies and operating models, empowering COOs, CFOs, CDOs, and CIOs to harness the potential of their data.

As an experienced data strategy consultant, you support our clients in getting more value from data and solving complex data problems. You guide the C-suite and senior IT, Finance, Operations managers and Data & Analytics leaders on their data journey. You leverage your expertise and experience in data consulting to help our clients to become more data driven, comply with laws and regulations regarding their data and help them in getting the most value out of their data

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage initiatives to help our clients in: articulating the data vision; defining their data strategy, target operating model and data roadmap ; and to adhere to applicable laws and regulations related to their data
  • You are able to initiate and steer discussions around the responsible use of data
  • You are able to shape, prepare and lead workshops with clients
  • Guide clients through data-related organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimized disruptions.
  • You are able to identify quick wins and show value early
  • Prepare fact-based reports with a compelling storyline.
  • Manage and daily coaching (senior) consultants, providing guidance, support, and feedback on their work and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and addressing their concerns or challenges.
  • Stay updated with relevant emerging technologies, industry trends, best practices, industry standards, regulations, and advancements in IT advisory, sharing knowledge and insights with the team and clients.

Experience

  • A completed Master’s degree
  • At least six years of relevant working experience in consulting and data strategy, data governance or similar roles
  • In-depth understanding of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in data strategy
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor project teams effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations and recommend effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of business processes and the ability to align data related issues with broader business objectives
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • DAMA DMBOK certification is a plus
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
