AWS – DevOps Engineer – Contract – Outside IR35

Valcon is one of the fastest growing technology and data consultancies in Europe, with offices in the UK, Nordics, Netherlands and Near-shore capability in Croatia, Latvia & Lithuania.

We’re currently looking to take on an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work alongside Valcon colleagues as part of a number of projects we’re running with a client in the Financial Services space.

This is a contract role, Outside IR35. The successful candidate will required to regularly work onsite in Central London

Experience

  • Experience developing cloud architectures and cloud-based solutions in AWS
  • Windows and Linux experience
  • Proficient with SQL Server database.
  • Strong experience in data ETL pipeline management, data reconciliation, and data migration experience
  • AWS Lambda, AWS S3 Glacier, and NetApps Snaplock experience
  • Knowledge of Python, Bash or Ruby
  • expert-level understanding of microservice architectures and patterns
  • Experience working in Test Driven Development
