Situation

The client’s existing IT solution had no user-centric approach and didn’t take business needs into consideration, which led to unclear case statuses and no auditable data security. Account statements are being created in a third-party system (TRAX) but no further processing is being done with the documents afterwards. There were no standard group systems for main business sectors, no scalable front-end solution, lots of manual work and regulatory risk due to manual controls and dependency on audits and no automation in on/off-boarding (time-expensive).

Results

Valcon helped the client build a pro-active solution with an action-centric data model for audit and status maintainability, enhanced data security and auditability. In collaboration with the client, we centralised Azure Storage, extraction of relevant business data and automated archiving, increased security and availability of the statements in a relevant system with increased UX. The project resulted in a definition of a to-be process in which Appian is used as an orchestration layer between multiple Portals i.e. frontends, Informatica and PowerBi.
