VELUX hired us to help them develop and implement strong, firm operations management processes. These should support VELUX’s day-to-day efforts in achieving operational excellence. Together, we defined and conducted a workshop programme, greater insights have been achieved, and the company culture is being boosted.
The How
VELUX management teams from administrative areas (logistics, finance, marketing, etc.) attended four workshops facilitated by Valcon consultants to be trained in the use of operations management tools, tasks and processes, and, in between the workshops, the managers implemented tools and processes, e.g. KPIs and common routines for performance follow-up.
Through operations management, VELUX has gained a greater level of management insights into – and practical experience with – how to create a better business by means of firm targets and operations management routines.
