Situation

Due to a pressure on the operational performance, it was difficult for employees and team managers to identify and realise improvement initiatives. The objective was to break the circle of the increasing work pressure by drawing up improvement initiatives and realising quick wins.

Approach

Valcon analysed the collection of annoyances/irritations and unexploited improvement potential of employees and team leaders to create, check and review a list of improvement initiatives. We realised visible improvements together with employees and team managers to establish the foundation for continuous improvement.

Situation

In total, we realised a backlog of 72 improvement initiatives with a savings potential of 16,444 hours. The project team alone realised thirteen improvement initiatives with a total savings of 5,888 hours. Relationship managers in the project team learned and applied principles and methods for implementing improvements.
