The client is an independent public enterprise owning, operating and developing transmission systems for electricity and natural gas. Based on the corporate strategy, the enterprise needed to create a data-driven performance culture based on relevant and timely information, including the implementation of a steering model for the operational and administrative areas. The implementation of the steering model required a redesign of the existing data and registration model in SAP.
Valcon helped develop the blueprints and requirement specifications needed to update the data/registration model in SAP and relevant SAP applications. In addition, Valcon implemented new management and steering reports on multiple levels within the organisation, increased transparency and thus improved management decisions.
Through a workshop-driven process and optimisation of business and management processes, including a definition of the primary management parameters necessary for the control of products and deliverables, we redesigned a steering model and secured successful implementation at both group and division levels.
