Situation
Many platform solutions are built to solve one specific business case. The challenge is to create a platform that can be started very small but can grow to a mature and smart platform as the business cases grow within the organisation. Also, keep in sight that the organisations can work independently with it as soon as the project(s) are done.
Approach
Our solution is the Smart Data Platform. This divides the platform into containers by the “separation of concern” principle derived from the software architecture. Each container takes care of a specific task of activity that is part of the whole data platform.
Results
The data platform enabled the client to start small and grow mature with automation that will prevent repetitive tasks and ensure that services are not used for multiple activities, which creates transparency.
