Situation

This retail channel is under pressure due to high costs and a growing tendency for customers to shop online. The client’s new retail sales strategy needs to be supported by a flexible, agile and device-aware application, containing sales information and the option to create well-founded advice for customers.

Results

Starting with a design thinking phase, it quickly became apparent that due to the customer focus of that app it must be appealing and easy to use, specific attention and effort were dedicated to the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX). The application was simple and intuitive to the extent that no dedicated training for the shop’s personnel was necessary.
