Situation
Due to the great complexity of processes within the transportation company where several departments are often involved, there are many opportunities to integrate business processes. Identifying these opportunities and realising the integration helps the customer to make their own processes more transparent and efficient.
Approach
Valcon provides Scrum teams consisting of business consultants with application knowledge and IT experience. This has led to Valcon being seen by the transportation company not only as a development party but also as a trusted advisor.
Results
The maintenance of 5 existing applications was done alongside the development of 2 new applications. These vary from project support that is used by a small group of users to business-critical applications that are used by multiple parties and have connections to various systems. Valcon also built a number of custom components for the client, including a widget that is now being used by other companies.
