A Danish holding company with interests in power cables and wires was challenged with raising its competitiveness in an ever increasingly competitive marketplace and to become the best power cable company in the eyes of its employees and customers.
The programme span included seven sites across Europe, identifying, enabling and realising potentials in the region of EUR 6m annual effect within 18 months. To ensure the establishment of a sustained culture towards continuous improvement, a dedicated training academy, including classroom, online and applied learning, was established.
To achieve the company’s ambition, an operating system was designed to continually improve the way of operating and delivering to their customers. As such, Valcon helped the holding company launch a designated, sustainable approach based on coaching, performance management, training and operational improvement activities across sites, including executive change labs across sites, middle management as well as group management levels.
