As a Test Automation Engineer you contribute to the development of innovative IT solutions. You play a crucial role in multidisciplinary projects or DevOps teams and you are an important link between Business & IT. We work with modern cloud platforms, such as Mendix, Appian, Pega, Microsoft PowerApps and Azure, UiPath and Splunk. As a Test Automation Engineer, you are responsible for everything around test processes, such as planning the tests, drawing up test scenarios, performing and supervising integration and acceptance tests, and the automation of tests. You will be given the opportunity to develop yourself in the direction you prefer.

Responsibilities

  • Having a leading technical role in the automation of tests.
  • Planning and reporting of  the progress of tests to project management.
  • Writing and executing automated test scripts.
  • Training and coaching business consultants and junior developers in solution architecture.
  • Building and maintaining a relevant network at current as well as new clients.

Experience

  • A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in areas such as: Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Economics or Mathematics.
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience as Test Automation Engineer.
  • Certification in and/or hands-on experience with one or more of the mentioned methods.
  • Experience with one of the following methods is an advantage: one of the leading architecture methods (e.g. TOGAF, Novius), low-code, model-driven software engineering, Rapid Application Development, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, application-architecture, information-architecture, integration-architecture.
  • Real team-player with excellent communication & analytical skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
